Community mediation centers has a responsibility to create space for a systems change within their community. As such, CMSMC will host monthly community conversations. Each quarter, we will partner with a different organization in order to provide information and more importantly for the community to have an opportunity to talk directly with the partner organization. These conversations will be held at various locations throughout St Mary's in order to capture the voice of the entire county. This is your opportunity to have your ideas, opinions, concerns, and/or compliments heard by key stakeholders of the organization.
For organizations, this is your chance to gain a deeper understanding of the community you serve and share your vision, goals, and services. Find out directly from the community about their wants and needs. Unpack the reasons for any disconnect between your organization and the community. Ask the burning questions that have gone unanswered in your planning and board meetings. Clarify any misunderstandings the community may have about your company. You are limited only by your imagination!
